Isfahan filigree is one of the most well-known Iranian filigree products.
This art craft is done using copper, silver and other metals.
First, the metal ingots are turned into a thin wire with a device and are engraved into shapes such as paisley, ivy, leaves, blooms and tears. It is then soldered with lower grade silver or other metals.
This requires time, precision, delicacy, and patience to come up with a nice and eye-catching design.
